Alexander McQueen AW 2015

This season’s collection was created by Sarah Burton as a tribute to a World War I, associating the clothes to a military uniform and also referencing Regency England. Bold statements featuring words “truth,” “valour,” and “honour” took their place on outwear pieces.

The famous poppies that are worn for Remembrance Day in Britain were rendered in silk jacquards for suits and coats. The looks were finished by thick-soled creeper-like boots, which are never out of trend.
